A nafuda is a name board that is hung up in traditional dojos to indicate the names and current ranks of senior members (generally yudansha or black belt holders) of the dojo. The area in the dojo where the nafuda are hung is called the nafudakake.
Since the Kengokan dojo has no permanent facility, we have chosen to create the Kengokan Nafudakake as an online place.
Those listed here are either students of the Kengokan Dojo (or its predecessor dojos in Brisbane) or are senior instructors who have contributed or influenced the development of Shorinjiryu, the Kengokan dojo and/or myself.
Where the individual is from another organisation, their dojo or organisation name is listed beside their name, and their name is in red in colour. Where the individual is from another dojo within Shorinjiryu Koshinkai Karatedo, their dojo name is listed beside their name, and their name is coloured yellow.
